This is archived information for Math 263 (Fall, 2004).
Each week there are some problems for practice (not to hand in, code PP), and some problems to submit for grading (actual homework, code HW). The most recent material appears at the top of the table below.
Hand-in assignments are due in class on the due date. Late submissions will receive a grade of 0, and will not be marked.
Problems are listed in reverse chronological order, so you can find the most recent ones first.
Read the Textbook! It is very important to read the textbook sections corresponding to the lecture material, and to make sure you understand all the steps in the solved examples. This can easily take 10 minutes per page--don't be surprised if reading your math text is more demanding than reading the newspaper! Please remember: The most important material to read in every section is the exercise section.
All the practice problems are chosen from the textbook: Robert A. Adams, Calculus of Several Variables, 5th edition (2003), Pearson Education Canada.
